Allie // Patrick Stump
I’m not broken-hearted, I’m just kind of pissed off.
Soul Punk is an incredible album and always will be. Not only because of the way it turned out, but the amount of thought and care that was put into it. Not only did Stump write, produce and perform everything on this album, but he hid puzzles and messages - and not only on the cover, in the booklet, and in the audio files. The lyrics and the music itself are challenging and thought-provoking. It takes skill to challenge and change a person’s world view with a single song.
For those of you who don’t know yet, I have discovered what the strange noises at the end of Cryptozoology mean. I’ve always been curious, but Patrick confirmed there was a meaning to it.
When added to a Spectrograph, the audio creates a hidden image, and the image is of the lyrics to Cryptozoology.
But wait, there’s more!
Some of the letters are capitalised as artificialconfidence (other Sarah) pointed out.
The letters spell out Reaganomics Failed, which I think may be a lead up to Greed (which is the next song).
Reaganomics refers to an American economic system in the 1980s that increased the government’s revenue but raised the poverty rate.
I ADDED A SPECTOGRAM TO THE FILE AND IT’S THE LYRICS I CAN DIE HAPPY
The noises at the end of Cryptozoology code for the lyrics in the song!
