I don’t know if you guys follow the fantastic @EverydaySexism Twitter. But they made a short documentary on it and put it on YouTube earlier this month.
And
the
commenters.
Like. I like to be understanding of people, and try and look at their situation and make excuses for them. But some of the people commenting on this video are so. Like there isn’t a word for it. Just. Look. And try not to explode with frustration and anger.
THIS MAKES ME SO ANGRY.
I know this is just one person’s comments, but there are others. And I am so peeved with these kinds of attitudes.

I mean I went through all the trauma when I read the book, now it’s just fangirling and freaking out because iT WAS SO GOOOOOOODD

The feelings just weren’t there anymore. Nothing could be done. It’s just one of those things that happens.
I feel so weird how I have friends that I’ve known over the internet for years but haven’t Skyped with.

Some traumatic train adventures tonight.
- Went to the train station, and the trains were being replaced by buses because they were doing work on the line, but I didn’t know which bus stop to go to because there are several. And I was too scared to ask anybody. So I stood in a relatively central spot until a bus pulled up across the road, and I wasn’t sure if it was mine, so I squinted to read the sign until I realised it said ‘train replacement’. So I had to jump off this 1.5m(ish) ledge onto the road (in a puddle) and run across Frogger style through the traffic to get to it. Whew.
- Then when I was getting the train back, they were only sending the front couple of cars. I didn’t know this until I tried to get onto one of the back cars and the doors shut and locked on me, and a conductor had to let me out.
ok, so you live in New Zealand, just out of curiosity, how cold is it there exactly?
Right now where I am it’s about 11°C (and it’s midday so this is about as warm as it’ll get), plus some winds coming straight up from Antarctica.
And this is the part where everybody in America replies with OMG THAT’S NOT EVEN COLD IT’S LIKE -30 HERE IN WINTER

This is cold for me, relative to normal NZ temperatures, and my poor little body has not adapted to cope with these conditions.
